Handbuilding: Narrative Boxes (8 week Class)

Learn foundational hand building techniques to create whimsical boxes. You will work with soft slab and pinch techniques to create boxes of all kinds. We will learn to use underglazes and develop painting techniques to explore storytelling through surface design. All skill levels are welcome.

Date: Tuesdays, May 3rd–June 21st (8 weeks)

Time: 5:45pm-7:30pm

Cost: $190.00

Included in 4 week Clay Classes:

Tuition includes class instruction, *open studio access, and shelf space
Clay Students are responsible for purchasing clay, personal tools and all firing costs. Firing costs range by size (a 5-inch cup is approximately $3.00 to fire)
*For Open Studio access, students are required to adhere to ICCGS Open Studio Policies and current COVID-19 protocols.
