2023.4 Pinch, Coil and Slab
Information about the Class/Workshop you are registering for:
Clay Techniques: Pinch, Coil & Slab 4 WEEKS In this hand building class, students will be introduced to clay techniques to create projects. Students are encouraged to utilize our open studio time to continue to explore each technique.Ages 18+. This class is for individuals of all skill levels. -Week 1: Pinch technique to create a planter -Week 2: Coil Techniques to make a berry bowl -Week 3: Slab building to create a coffee mug -Week 4: glazing/Finishing of all projects.
Date: Thursdays, April 6th–April 27th (4 weeks) Time: 5:45pm-7:30pm Cost: $105.00–4 weeks Instructor: Alex Schmiechen
Included in 4-8 week Clay Classes: Please read over our Current Student handbook and Guidelines by clicking here. The fee for one session provides for the following (unless otherwise specified): -Class instruction, open studio access, access to glazes and shelf space. -Open Studio access, students and Open Studio Members are required to adhere to ICCGS Open Studio Policies -Clay Students are responsible for purchasing clay and personal tools (if desired) -Students are responsible for all firing costs. You can view firing costs via our supply store LINK. Firing costs range by size (a 5-inch cup is approximately $5.00 to fire). All firing should be paid online, prior to firing, via our payment system. Event has ended. |
